FPM Global Asia Pacific

The purpose of FPM Global is to provide leadership in establishing pharmaceutical medicine as a global medical specialty and to increase FPM’s global reach through the creation of a network of pharmaceutical physicians who work outside of the UK.

Meet an FPM Global Asia Pacific member:

Dr Rajan Bajracharya is a Medical Director (Clinical Development, Immunology) at UCB Pharma, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating value for people living with severe diseases.

He is actively involved in the professional development and education of pharmaceutical physicians. He is a member of the Board of Examiners of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM), where he assesses candidates for the DPM and FFPM examinations. He is also a member of the Global FPM Forum, a network of pharmaceutical medicine faculties and associations that aims to promote and harmonise the standards and practice of pharmaceutical medicine worldwide. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland, a learned society that supports research and public engagement on Asia and Africa.

What Pharmaceutical Medicine means to me?

A scientific discipline where you can be involved in the discovery, research and development of medicines and bring positive change in thousands of patients living with disease conditions. It is also an opportunity to be a part of pioneering scientific community, who aspire to work for the benefit of patients and help build a healthy society.
