Fellowships and Awards

Our fellowship, membership and awards ceremony recognises excellence in the science and practice of pharmaceutical medicine, including education, teaching, policy, and engagement. These awards are presented annually in recognition of those who have worked towards our mission to advance the science and practice of pharmaceutical medicine by developing and maintaining competence, ethics and integrity and the highest professional standards in the specialty for the benefit of the public.

The decision to admit an individual as Fellow, Honorary Fellow, Honorary Member or Member by Distinction is made by the Board of Trustees, after consideration of the report of the Fellowship and Awards Committee.

We are now closed for applications and nominations for 2023, but we will open again in January 2024.

Honorary Membership recognises those who have made significant contributions in the fields of research, teaching, medicine, general science or society.

Honorary Fellows and Members need not be medically qualified and these honours are strictly limited. Information about nominating someone for an award is available here (pdf).
