FPM Fellows (FFPM) can nominate individuals for Membership by Distinction. All nominations must be seconded by another FPM Fellow.
Nominees must have current medical registration.
This is an exceptional route to Membership for medics who have made a significant contribution beyond the normal day-to-day practice of pharmaceutical medicine.
Members by Distinction have the same rights, privileges and obligations as FPM Members (MFPM) and are required to pay an annual membership subscription and so must agree to being nominated.

How to nominate?
A Fellow in good standing can nominate someone via our online form. Nominations should include:
- Name of the person making the nomination
- Name of the nominated individual
- A supporting statement of 300-1000 words that details how the nominee meets the eligibility criteria of how the nominee has made a significant contribution beyond the normal day-to-day practice of pharmaceutical medicine
- Be supported by a current Fellow in good standing
