Paediatrics and Women’s Health

Chair: Dr Allyah Abbas-Hanif

For many reasons, children and women are groups that are often overlooked in the development of novel medicines. The Paediatrics and Women’s Health expert group considers the scientific, ethical and regulatory challenges across pharmaceutical medicine in children and women at all stages of life.

The group also considers the patient issues relevant to these groups – how to support children to make choices in their healthcare, working with parents and carers and others.
