Outcome of the 2025 AGM: Special Resolution Approved

Posted on: Wednesday 19 November 2025

Yesterday, at the 2025 FPM Annual General Meeting, FPM Members and Fellows approved a special resolution which has brought into effect transformational change to the governance and operations of FPM.

The Board will transition to a smaller, governance-focused body, with operational responsibility formally centred in the staff team.

Updated trustee term limits and appointment processes will modernise FPM and align it with contemporary best practice.

Full details of the Special Resolution can be viewed here

93% of votes received were in favour of the resolution. This comfortably exceeded the required minimum of 75% in favour. Voting, including those made by proxy, was coordinated by an independent organisation, Mi-voice.
