AGM 2025

Tuesday 18 November 2025
18:00 - 20:00

This hybrid event is taking place online and at 10 Union Street, London – the same day and venue as the Annual Symposium – making it convenient for those already attending the event.

Bookings are now closed.

FPM stands at an important point in its evolution. As the practice and impact of pharmaceutical medicine continue to grow, our governance must be robust, modern and fit for purpose.

Over the past year, through our work on strategy for the period 2026-28 and a parallel piece of work on FPM’s governance, the Board of Trustees has been focusing on how best to ensure FPM is equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of the years ahead.

At this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), we will be asking Members and Fellows to consider and approve a series of changes that are designed to modernise our Articles, to ensure we have a balanced Board, to provide clear leadership and continuity, to support accountability and decision-making, and to ensure we remain a credible, authoritative voice for our specialty.

The detail of what we’re proposing can be found here and we urge you, please, to take a little time to read the proposals and the Resolution which we will be asking members to support. We will also be asking members to vote on the appointment of new auditors.

This year’s AGM will be held on 18 November at 18:00, in person after the Annual Symposium and online. All members are warmly invited to attend the AGM, engage with the proposals and contribute to the discussion. Members and Fellows are eligible to vote on the Resolution, and we strongly encourage you to do so and help to shape FPM’s future.

This is going to be a very significant Annual General Meeting - we are going to be talking about some substantial changes to the governance of the organisation, which we hope will help to drive our modernisation agenda forward, and we very much look forward to hearing contributions from members on what we're proposing.
