Observances and Diversity Calendar 2026

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Forum has developed a calendar of key global and cultural dates that will be observed throughout 2026 as part of its ongoing work to promote equity, inclusion and belonging within FPM.
These moments provide opportunities to recognise and celebrate the diversity of our membership and to reaffirm our commitment to inclusion, equity and respect in pharmaceutical medicine. By highlighting these dates, the EDI Forum aims to encourage engagement and collective action in support of a more inclusive profession for all.
Our membership diversity is one of our greatest strengths. By sharing perspectives on globally recognised health‑related days, cultures, beliefs, and values, we deepen our understanding of one another, the healthcare eco-system, and communities we serve. This calendar reflects selected moments that can inspire curiosity, learning, and foster connections whilst acknowledging that there are also many other important observances.
