The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM) is excited to be looking for enthusiastic members to join the brand-new Working in Partnership with Patients & Communities Forum.

As a committed advocate for advancing the science and practice of pharmaceutical medicine, FPM believes in developing effective medicines that meet the needs of patients through collaboration with patients and patient communities. The contribution of patients is also acknowledged to be central to the consideration of the needs of diverse patient groups and part of our Environmental, Social and Governance responsibilities as pharmaceutical physicians.

FPM is forming the Forum to guide and support partnerships working in all aspects of FPM’s work and to encourage our membership to engage and give them the tools to do so. This new forum aims to leverage FPM’s influence to support and champion active partnerships with patients and communities in the healthcare and life science sector.

We invite interest from people with lived experience, as well as those with a background in pharmaceuticals.
