Policy and Communications update

As part of wider revised staff and governance arrangements, and following an internal operations review, FPM’s Senior Management Team (SMT) chose to wind down the Policy and Communications Group in March 2026.

FPM’s policy and communications work will continue through the External Affairs staff team, with input from FPM’s Expert Groups and wider FPM membership where appropriate. These revised arrangements are intended to support a more agile approach to decision-making and the development of outputs. The Board retains oversight through revised reporting arrangements and signs off FPM’s policy themes.

The SMT is grateful for the work and contributions of the PCG, its chairs, and its past and present members over many years.
