Dr Sheuli Porkess elected to the Board of Trustees at AoMRC

We are delighted to share that our President, Dr Sheuli Porkess, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC).
The AoMRC brings together the UK’s medical royal colleges and faculties to improve healthcare through collaboration, advocacy, and the advancement of medical education and standards. As a member organisation, FPM contributes to the Academy’s Council and a number of its working groups, helping to shape policy and practice across the profession.
The AoMRC Board of Trustees is responsible for overseeing the Academy’s governance and ensuring it meets its charitable objectives of promoting the highest standards in healthcare for the benefit of patients and the public.
Sheuli’s term on the AoMRC Board will run until the conclusion of her term as President of FPM.
It is a huge honour to have been elected to the AoMRC Board, and I’m excited to help the Academy meet its charitable aims - improving healthcare, education and patient outcomes through collaboration across the medical royal colleges and faculties.
