Who’s Ready? Making Entrustment Decisions in PMST

To complete the Pharmaceutical Medicine Specialty Training (PMST) programme, trainees must demonstrate their readiness to practise independently across the essential capabilities of the specialty. But what does it mean to be ‘entrustable’? How can trainees show they are ready to work without supervision  – and how should educational supervisors make that judgement?

This interactive session will explore the concept of entrustment in specialty training and provide a practical framework for making entrustment decisions in the context of PMST. It’s designed to support both trainees and supervisors in answering the crucial question: Who’s ready?
