Bringing together decades of FPM leadership

On 16 July 2026, we were delighted to welcome several past Presidents, Treasurers and Registrars to a reunion lunch at our new headquarters in High Holborn, alongside current Board members and staff.

This unique event brought together FPM leadership spanning several decades. Present were:

Professor Peter Stonier (FPM President 1997-2001)
Dr Brian Gennery OBE (FPM President 2001-2005)
Dr Susan Bews (FPM President 2005-2009)
Dr Keith Bragman (FPM President 2012-2015)
Professor Alan Boyd OBE (FPM President 2015-2018)
Professor Tim Higenbottam (FPM President 2018-2021)
Dr Chris Worth (Past Registrar & Treasurer)
Dr Neil Hounslow (Past Treasurer)
Dr Kamlesh Sheth (Past Treasurer)

They joined incumbent officers Dr Sheuli Porkess (FPM President 2024-2027) and Dr Emma Harvey (FPM Vice-President 2024-2027).

A Tour of the New Office

For many guests, this was their first visit to FPM’s new headquarters at 5–11 Theobalds Road. Following lunch, guests were given a tour of the office space and an opportunity to meet the current FPM team and Board members.

Looking Ahead

The event offered a welcome opportunity to reconnect past leadership with the current FPM team, and to mark the move to our new home in High Holborn. We would like to thank all our guests for taking the time to join us, and we hope to make the Officers’ reunion a regular fixture.
