On Thursday 11 September, we held the inaugural President’s Lecture at the National Liberal Club.
The evening began with opening remarks from our President, Dr Sheuli Porkess, followed by a thought-provoking and forward-looking lecture on Future Trends in Pharmaceutical Medicine delivered by one of FPM’s founders, Dr David Jefferys FFPM.
Attendees then had the opportunity to put their questions directly to both David and Sheuli, sparking lively discussion and valuable insights.
Afterwards, guests enjoyed a networking reception, with drinks and canapés, where conversations and connections continued to flourish.
It was a real honour to host FPM’s first ever President’s Lecture. It was wonderful to reconnect with so many friends and colleagues, and hearing from David was a privilege, his insights offered inspiration as we look to the future of pharmaceutical medicine. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion!
