Guiding Principles for Pharmaceutical Physicians

The Faculty's 'Guiding Principles for Pharmaceutical Physicians' document has recently been revised by the Faculty's Ethical Issues Sub-committee and was published in November 2010.

The revisions to the document are the result of a recommendation in the report by the Royal College of Physicians 'Innovating for Health: Patients, physicians, the pharmaceutical industry and the NHS'.

Patients' Version

The Faculty is currently developing a patients' version of the Guiding Principles, to inform patients, volunteers and trial subjects about how can expect pharmaceutical physicians to act during clinical trials.
