FPM is seeking a new Treasurer.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to make a significant contribution to FPM and the specialty of pharmaceutical medicine in one of our most senior governance roles. The Treasurer is an Officer of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and sits on the Board of Trustees as well as a number of other committees. As a Trustee of FPM, the Treasurer has general responsibilities for ensuring that FPM is solvent, well-run, and delivering the charitable outcomes for the benefit of the public for which it has been set up. In addition, the Treasurer takes specific interest in the current and future financial governance of FPM.

This is a voluntary role, but expenses will be reimbursed according to the FPM’s policies. Eligible candidates must be a Member or Fellow of FPM. It is important that potential candidates understand the time commitment required and it is envisaged that the successful candidate will spend the equivalent of two days per month on the role. We are keen to encourage applications that reflect the wide range of backgrounds of our membership.
