Responsible Officer Vacancy

The vacancy for Responsible Officer (RO) of the FPM Designated Body is now open. We are seeking to appoint a new RO to enable us to meet our legally required obligation as a designated body.
We are looking for an experienced professional, who will take a proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting our connected doctors through their revalidation.

Role
The RO plays a crucial role in ensuring professional standards and regulatory compliance. The responsibilities of the role include overseeing revalidation processes, ensuring adherence to regulations, and maintaining the standards of FPM.
Working in close collaboration with the Revalidation team, the RO will provide guidance and knowledge, whilst driving a mindset of continuous improvement.
Remunerations and Conditions
The role is 16 hours per week, to be structured as is beneficial to the role with renumeration of £25,000 per annum.
Eligibility Criteria
- The RO must at the time of appointment, have been a medical practitioner throughout the previous 5 years and for this purpose ‘medical practitioner’ means a person who was fully registered and licensed under the Medical Act 1983 (as amended).
- The RO must continue to be a doctor in order to remain as a Responsible Officer.
- Experience in pharmaceutical medicine would be advantageous, though is not essential.
