New board appointments: Ado Muhammed and Kamlesh Sheth

We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new trustees who will take up office at the AGM on 4 November 2022.
Dr Kamlesh Sheth has been appointed as the new Treasurer and will be one of four officers on the Board of Trustees. Dr Sheth is an entrepreneur who has founded four companies in the life science sector so brings a wealth of financial experience to the role. Dr Sheth has served in a number of roles in FPM including Specialist Advisory Committee of the Joint Royal College of Physicians Training board. Currently Dr Sheth is a member of the Finance Committee so will be able to build on his experience in the Honorary Treasurer role.
Dr Ado Muhammad has been appointed as a Fellow Trustee and is the first Nigerian to serve on FPM’s Board of Trustees. Dr Muhammad has been a member of FPM since 2011 and a Fellow since 2020. Currently, Dr Muhammad is a member of FPM Global and is championing for the increase in advocacy to support capacity building in pharmaceutical medicine in Africa and the Middle East. Dr Muhammad is passionate about helping FPM to adapt to the evolving challenges in pharmaceutical medicine not only in the UK but globally, especially in the Global South.
