Training and Exams

The Faculty coordinates Pharmaceutical Medicine Specialty Training (PMST) - a 4-year training programme for pharmaceutical physicians to gain accreditation and apply to be on the specialist register of the GMC as a Pharmaceutical Physician.

Trainees undertaking PMST are represented on the Trainees' Subcommittee. Read more about the Subcommittee's remit and activities here.

The Faculty also sets the curricula for and organises four examinations relating to pharmaceutical medicine.

The Faculty is a public partner within the PharmaTrain project.
