Knowledge-based Examination
Trainees are encouraged to sit the PMST knowledge-based examination at all eligible opportunities during their 4-year training programme.
There are currently three Diploma examinations in Pharmaceutical Medicine recognised for this by the Pharmaceutical Medicine Deanery and the General Medical Council:
1. The Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine (Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, London, UK)
2. The Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine (PHARMED, Brussels, Belgium)
3. The Diploma in Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine (ECPM, Basel, Switzerland)
